A sure sign that spring has arrived! I haven’t seen any yet, but we do have daffodils in the garden at last. 🙂
It is one of our earliest spring flowers and deserves greater attention. It is native in the islands but I suspect it is overlooked or dismissed as a “dandelion”!
I hope you’re right Cathy. The urban daffodils along the road verges are in full bloom – welcomed by many but I get more joy from the first wild flowers. Still waiting for the daffodils in the cottage garden, hopefully April will bring some sunshine.
